Fortiche: Can you tell us about your career?
I studied for 5 years in a 3D animation school (Supinfocom Arles), I graduated in 2013.
Then I worked a few years as a freelance 3D generalist in the south of France.
F: Why did you choose this career path?
Working as a Graphic Designer didn’t feel right. However, I wanted to be part of Animation Projects’ creation processes. This lead me to the position of Production Manager. I gave it a try without knowing what to expect.
My background as a Graphic Artist is really helpful as I already knew the steps involved in making an animated film.
F: How long have you been working with Fortiche?
For the past 5 years.
F: What is your role on the project or at Fortiche?
I am mainly in charge of the Animation department of Fortiche, but this can change depending on the project. My role is to organize different tasks within the deadlines, to relay important information with the other departments, to anticipate and report potential delays or problems. The goal is to make sure that the graphic designers can concentrate exclusively on their work and not have to handle all the unexpected aspects of production.
F: What is your best memory at Fortiche or do you have an anecdote to share with us?
I have rather a global feeling: I started 5 years ago as an intern at Fortiche, I am now a production manager in one of the biggest departments of the studio and I had the opportunity to work on several great projects without ever getting bored. I found my professional path thanks to Fortiche and I am extremely grateful for it.
