GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The CFX Supervisor is responsible for setting up, adapting and supervising the multi software fabrication processes for all projects under development or in production in the department, in order to deliver elements that meet the artistic and technical requirements of the various projects, on time and on budget.
You identify the specific artistic and technical needs of each project and supervise the adaptation of teams to the various specifications required.
You will set up a multi-project team organization in order to share best practices, optimize processes and build up global "business" expertise across the department.
Working alongside the department's Production Supervisor and Production Manager, you will supervise leads and graphic designers in the production of Hair and Cloth simulations. You will take part in setting up and monitoring the department's projects.
MAIN TASKS
Technical & artistic development
- Guarantee the technical and artistic quality of simulations

- Contribute to the development of the department's tools and workflow alongside the Dev/TD team
Managament and communication
- Deploy the department's roadmap in line with production priorities and projects to be set up
- Coordinate the CFX team and guarantee the artistic and technical coherence of the work in line with the schedule for each project:some text
- Analysis/bids of Hair & Cloth plans and set ups, identification of production sites and proposal of solutions to meet deadlines.
- Definition of team priorities and objectives with the help of Production.
- Presentation of department shots to directors in Review CFX
- Daily monitoring of leads and graphic artists, and providing feedback to Production.
- Optimize resources by identifying possible pooling of resources
- Anticipate departmental issues related to projects and challenges
- Define human resources requirements for the department and get involved in the recruitment process alongside production supervision and the Talent Acquisition team.

Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, you will manage teams of technical experts in digital creation.
In collaboration with the technical project management teams (e.g. program manager), you organize and ensure the implementation of the team structure.
You are the direct manager of the team's Leads.
You deploy the strategic technology roadmap defined by the CTO, and build the tactical roadmap for the TD teams, drawing on the team's technical expertise.
